We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer (such as survey information and/or site registrations). The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and the quality of our service, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstance:
It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Bloom Cloud Engine Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
When you register for Bloom Cloud Engine we ask for information such as your name, company name, and email address. Members who sign up for an account are never required to enter a credit card.
Bloom Technologies uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, and research.
At Bloom, we believe in being clear and open about how we collect and use data related to you. This Cookie Policy applies to any Bloom product or service that links to this policy or incorporates it by reference. We use cookies and local storage (collectively referred to in this policy as "cookies") to collect and use data as part of our Services.
Type of technology | Description |
---|---|
Cookies | A cookie is a small file placed onto your device that enables Bloom features and functionality. Any browser visiting our sites may receive cookies from us or cookies from third parties such as our partners or service providers. We use two types of cookies: persistent cookies and session cookies. A persistent cookie lasts beyond the current session and will stay on your browser until they expire or you delete them. Session cookies last only as long as the session (usually the current visit to a website or a browser session). |
Local Storage | Local storage enables a website or application to store information locally on your device(s). Local storage may be used to improve the LinkedIn experience, for example, by enabling features, remembering your preferences and speeding up site functionality. |
Please take a look at our Cookie Policy if you would like more information on how and why we use cookies.
Bloom Technologies uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Bloom Technologies products. Although Bloom Technologies owns the code, databases, and all rights to the various Bloom Technologies products, you retain all rights to your data (including the ability to export, change, and delete the data).
If you're a 3rd party (a customer of a company that uses our products) and would like your data removed from our systems then this request must come through the company that uses our software. We do not store enough data about customers to independently verify customers' identities. The companies that use our software do have enough data to verify you are who you say you are and will be able to carry out removal requests accurately.
Bloom Technologies may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Bloom Cloud Engine Terms of Service.
Bloom Technologies may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Bloom Cloud Engine primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
